Jessica
studied and worked in the United States for four years. She is a web
designer and graphic designer, and is a social worker, who enjoys working
with people. She has previously been head of various labor market companies.
Her unique
drive is what made the exclusive boot company ACQUO of Sweden popular
all over the world, but it is Jessica's exuberant personality and sense
of perfection that will make her a name in the fashion world.
In 2021,
she created an exclusive "coffee table book" (Step into the
world of ACQUO) with lots of pictures that exemplify how her totally
unique boot can be used through all stages of life.
What makes the
book personal and inspiring is that she has chosen to photograph and
portray her daughter, her sister and herself together with many other
models and successful women from different countries in the world.
The book
is sold in the webshop together with the boots which already have a
fantastic spread of customers in almost 50 different countries.

Jessica is in the
exciting reality series The Apprentice Sweden. The Apprentice is the
reality show that has been successful abroad and was broadcasted on
Swedish TV4 spring 2022. Can be seen on TV4 Play and CMore.
Business
leader and entrepreneur Gunilla von Platen leads the new program where
the quest to win her personal investment is at the center. The Apprentice
is a great international success that exists in many countries and different
versions.
In each
program, participants face a new challenge. In the boardroom, Gunilla
then decides who is allowed to stay and who is allowed to leave. In
the end, only one is the winner. Jessica is one of 12 entrepreneurs
in the exciting program series.

sales were discontinued after a few years.
In 2010,
Jessica found a stock of boots that were around 30 years old. She saw
something special in this little treasure. She decided to revive this
boot, she wanted to create something big. They were relaunched in 2016
when Jessica started the company ACQUO of Sweden after several years
of work. With sizes for all different feet and people. These unique
boots are available in sizes 37-46.
The ACQUO boots
have fantastic details, fine quality and are totally unique with their
design, that they are vegan and durable. This, together with her exciting
ideas, means that the company has a great future. The design is retro
& vintage and at the same time luxurious and modern.
ACQUO
cares about the environment and the animals and offers an animal-friendly
fashion. The shaft and sole of the ACQUO boots are made of 100 percent
natural rubber. They are a great alternative to leather and very easy
to clean. These soft boots with comfortable fit have already become
popular with a wide spread of customers all over the world.

After
7 years of running the company all by herself, she wanted a partner
and found Julia Wiering where it clicked immediately as both of them
had the same drive and feeling to let the company and the exciting popular
boots reach new heights.
Acquo
has been run since spring 2023 by Jessica and Julia together. Two women
with a drive where both have an entrepreneurial background as well as
knowledge in sales, marketing and leadership. Julia and Jessica see
the need for a boot that fits in all contexts and they are not afraid
to roll up their sleeves and work hard with the company,
Julia
and Jessica run the company toghether with exuberant personalities.
They are both enormous bundles of energy with strong ambition and clear
visions. They would like to make the broad masses understand that a
good basic wardrobe obviously includes an Acquo boot that goes with
all outfits and is also environmentally and animal friendly. Right now,
they are both are working to make the exciting company ACQUO of Sweden
even bigger in the world with marketing, development of the website
and a lot of exciting product development.
